Tryout Information

Online Registration for a Sport Before Tryouts

In order for a student to be eligible to tryout for any sport, they MUST:

1. On your ParentVue app, complete the online athletic registration (the links are open 24/7) (ParentVue Login Link)

2. Be Academically Eligible (Pass a minimum of 5 ½ credit classes the previous semester)

3. Have a current physical on file with the school nurse

Parents and athletes MUST complete the online registration process in order for any student to try out for any sport at Belleville East High School.  Completion of this process does not guarantee your son/daughter will be a member of the final team. Coaches will make decisions on the final rosters, for each sport, upon completion of tryouts.  Please read the District 201 Code of Conduct, the IHSA Eligibility Rules, info on banned substances, and the IHSA Concussion Info Sheet before submitting the online registration.

Athletes may not tryout/participate if a physical is older than 395 days. Make sure physicals are up-to-date and do not expire in the middle of a season.  If you are not sure if a current physical is on file, please contact Lindsey Owens, Athletic Secretary, at 222-3770.  Any student who has not completed the online registration, and made sure they have a current physical on file will NOT be eligible for tryouts.  All physicals MUST be turned into the nurses’ office in A-bldg.; physicals may NOT be turned into the coach or secretary.

Students should read the daily announcements to find out when informational meetings will be held regarding offseason workouts & tryouts for their particular sport.
